Damien Chazelle's follow-up to Whiplash and La La Land takes him into new territory as he tells the story of astronaut Neil Armstrong (Ryan Gosling) and the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. This is a thrilling film filled with authentic period detail and a brilliant performance from Gosling.
