During a day of their honeymoon, newlyweds are separated by the city's lust and the desires it produces. Fellini's first film as solo-director, a hilarious caper and a beautiful monochrome vision of the Roman entertainment industry of the 1950s.
Introduced by Dr Luca Paci, co-director of the Italian Cultural Centre Wales, and the Italian Film Festival Cardiff.
Why you should see it: because it's an early classic from Fellini, and a great way for us to re-start our Fellini season
