Please note: we still require over-18s to show a COVID pass on arrival, and face-coverings must be worn in the cinema (unless exempt). For more information on our COVID safety requirements, please visit our website - https://www.snowcatcinema.co.uk/covid-passes

After an aborted screening last yeat (technical issues scuppered it) we're going to try again to show Akira on the big screen - the only place it should really be seen. A secret military project endangers Neo-Tokyo when it turns a biker gang member into a rampaging psychic psychopath who can only be stopped by a teenager, his gang of biker friends and a group of psychics. Wild adventure, incredible animation, a sensory overload - don't miss it!

Why you should see it: because it’s one of the greatest animated films ever made - a visual delight

Tickets £8.50 / £6.50 (conc)

Please note: there's no need to print your tickets. We have a list of attendees on the door so you just need to give us your name when you arrive. Save the trees!

Doors open at 6:30pm

Film starts at 7pm

Snowcat Cinema does not screen adverts before the feature.  There are usually one or two trailers for films that will be shown soon but we encourage people to arrive promptly for the advertised start time.

Refunds will only be provided if the screening does not go ahead. Please see our COVID page for information about tickets swaps if you receive a positive test etc.
