When the Riddler, a sadistic serial killer, begins murdering key political figures in Gotham, Batman is forced to investigate the city's hidden corruption and question his family's involvement. Robert Pattinson dons the legendary cowl and cape combo in this very dark and grimy vision of Gotham City and its criminal underbelly.

Why you should see it: because it's the first real demonstration of the caped crusader as a detective trying to solve stop a gritty crime-spree
