We will continue to wear masks at the front desk and while ushering, and encourage you to do the same to protect others in the small cinema space.
A Los Angeles insurance representative (Fred McMurray) lets an alluring housewife (Barbara Stanwyck) seduce him into a scheme of insurance fraud and murder that arouses the suspicion of his colleague, an insurance investigator (Edward G Robinson). This may well be the ultimate film noir - adapted by Raymond Chandler from the James M Cain novel, full of witty, hard-boiled dialogue, and with Barbara Stanwyck in an iconic femme-fatale role. Don't miss it.
Why you should see it: because it’s a stone-cold classic
