Akira Kurosawa's 1950 film, Rashomon, was the director's breakthrough film in the West.  Widely considered one of the best films of all time, it is a tale of murder and intrigue, revealed through the conflicting recollections of the involved parties.  Kurosawa exquisitely weaves together the threads of the event in this early film example of the 'unreliable narrator' storytelling technique.  The film is rarely screened in the UK even now that it is recognised as a masterpiece, so we're overjoyed to be able to bring it to Snowcat Cinema.

Doors at Penarth Pier Pavilion will open at 7:30pm and the film will start at 8pm sharp.  A bar will be available along with popcorn and confectionary.
