Lost In Translation

2003 | Sofia Coppola | 102 mins | Colour | English / Japanese | 15

This screening is SOLD OUT - please email info@snowcatcinema.co.uk to be added to the reserves list.

A faded movie star (Bill Murray) and a neglected young woman (Scarlett Johansson) form an unlikely bond after meeting in Tokyo. Sofia Coppola's second feature film oozes style and demonstrates her unique, assured directorial style. Murray is perfect in the role of a Hollywood icon in the later years of his career. The film captures the neon loneliness of the streets, hotels and bars of Tokyo, and has a soundtrack over-flowing with cool cult classics.

15 years after its original release, it's time to see the film on the big screen and to fall in love with it all over again.
