PLEASE NOTE: This screening of The Father has a smaller bubble with seats to the sides blocked, but not those in front or behind. Friday night’s screening remains at a much reduced capacity with a large social distanced bubble around each booking.
Sir Anthony Hopkins picked up his second Best Actor Oscar for his outstanding performance in this film, a moving drama revolving around the relationship between a man with dementia, and his daughter, played by the always excellent Olivia Colman. The film also won the Best Adapted Screenplay award at this year’s Academy Awards. Don’t miss it.
Why you should see it: because Hopkins and Colman are brilliant
