Passing follows the unexpected reunion of two high school friends (Tessa Thompson and Ruth Negga), whose renewed acquaintance ignites a mutual obsession that threatens both of their carefully constructed realities.

The directorial debut of actor Rebecca Hall is an outstanding portrait of women living on the edges of their race and culture. Beautifully photographed - a stunning accomplishment.

Why you should see it: because it’s a beautiful and thought provoking debut from Rebecca Hall
