On paper, a simple premise - a poor village under attack by bandits recruits seven unemployed samurai to help them defend themselves. In reality, one of the richest, most emotionally satisfying, action-packed movies ever. Akira Kurosawa’s epic is a triumph - don’t miss the chance to see it in the cinema.
