Critically acclaimed, Kenneth Branagh's semi-autobiographical drama is set in Belfast during the 1960s. It's an evocative, thought-provoking and moving story of small-scale family drama taking place within the wider chaos of 'the troubles'.
March is Oscars month at Snowcat Cinema. Belfast has been nominated in seven categories: director, picture, original screenplay, supporting actor (Ciarán Hinds), supporting actress (Judi Dench), sound, and music written for a motion picture (Van Morrison's song Down To Joy).
