Based on the stage musical of the same name, this is the semi-biographical tale of writer Jonathan Larson's struggle to get into the musical business. Larson was the writer of the Broadway smash, Rent, but tragically passed away before it was first staged. Andrew Garfield's performance as Larson is electrifying and the film will keep your on your toes even while you tap them insistently!
